MADISON, Wis. — During a closed-door GOP event last week, California bank owner Eric Hovde (R–Laguna Beach) admitted that his “main business” is the California bank he owns.
Hovde is the owner and CEO of a $2.8 billion California bank based in Orange County, California. Hovde also owns a $7 million Laguna Beach mansion and spends lots of time enjoying his luxurious life in Southern California, including as recently as the day the NRSC announced he will run for Senate. Hovde has been such a big part of the Orange County, California community that he was named one of the most influential people in Orange County three years in a row.
