Dusty Hartl Announces His Candidacy for Wisconsin Assembly District 15

WEST ALLIS – On February 4th, 2021, the People for Dusty committee was founded to help elect Dustin “Dusty” Hartl to the Wisconsin State Assembly to represent the 15th district in 2022. This district encompasses parts of the West Allis and New Berlin communities.

Rep. Joe Sanfelippo has failed us. Some of his top donors are corporations, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies. He has stopped working for the people of Wisconsin and started working for these special interests. As of recently, over a hundred thousand people across the state are waiting for unemployment benefits, local businesses are struggling and over 5,000 people from our state have lost their lives because of this pandemic.

The GOP led assembly has remained mostly inactive since April and Safelippo has said “there is nothing more that the government can do.”  Dusty disagrees. Dusty has worked as an essential worker throughout this entire pandemic while our Representative collected his paychecks from the taxpayers and avoided doing anything to assist those struggling through this global catastrophe. Dusty understands that change is needed by someone who isn’t bought and paid for.

Dusty knows that the country, the state and even the district are deeply divided. He has seen the trench warfare that has ensued during the last election and he will always listen to those who will hold him accountable: the people. His campaign is people powered and he will not accept donations from corporations, insurance companies or pharmaceutical companies.

We need someone to fight for us who has strong moral character, the perseverance for change, because it will not happen overnight, and has the ability to represent not just those who vote for him, but everyone.
