Deadline Set for Public Response to Strategic Plan Survey
Milwaukee County Parks Seeks Public Input in the Development of 2015-2020 Strategic Plan
Milwaukee, WI (April 16, 2014) —Milwaukee County Parks announced today that Wednesday, April 30th will be the last day for the public to respond to the online survey on the Milwaukee County Parks 2015-2020 Strategic Plan. The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ParksStrategicPlanInput
“I’d like to remind our park patrons and community partners that their involvement is essential in developing the best road map to the future of parks,” said Parks Director John Dargle, Jr. “The draft developed through input of staff, the Parks Advisory Commission, the County Board, and the County Executive can be enriched only through the participation of the public.”
Dargle and Dr. Angela Allen, the plan facilitator from UW-Cooperative Extension, presented the draft plan at five town-hall style meetings in March.
The presentation and links to the strategic plan survey and parks interest survey are available on the parks website at county.milwaukee.gov/MilwaukeeCountyParks2015-2020StrategicPlan
