Discover the Plants Behind Your Favorite Beverages at “Brews and Botany”

Franklin, WIMilwaukee County Parks and Wehr Nature Center invite you to sip, savor, and explore the plant-powered world of beverages at Brews and Botany: An Evening Discovering the Plants Behind Your Favorite Bevvy’s, taking place Saturday, August 22, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Wehr Nature Center.

Plants give us the drinks that make our mornings bearable and our evenings more enjoyable. Join us for an evening unleashing our curiosities behind Brews and Botany. Sample unique beverages provided by local small-businesses innovating plant-based drinks that are expanding our palate. Explore the flavor combinations of craft beer, kombucha, coffee, and tea – all available in a beautiful natural setting paired with live music and an artisanal food truck.

This event is rain or shine and highlights how Wehr Nature Center aspires to connect people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds with nature– specifically, through plants. All are welcome; however you must be 21 or older to sample alcoholic beverages.

Attendees can expect:

  • Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage samples from area small business owners,
  • Botanical-hikes with trivia to back your favorite drinks,
  • Live acoustic music in a beautiful natural setting,
  • Food Truck available onsite,
  • Free parking for the evening (value at $5 per car).

Tickets: $25 Non-Member, $20 Friends of Wehr Member

Pre-registered ticket sales end on August 21st. Same-day registration welcome as space allows.
