Madison, WI (April 14, 2025) – Civic Media has announced a new weekday lineup for its network of Wisconsin News/Talk radio stations, including a fresh three-hour morning show.

“Mornings with Pat Kreitlow” is Civic Media’s new three-hour network morning show, heard weekday mornings from 6 a.m. – 9 a.m. and anchored by Pat Kreitlow, Founding Editor of Courier Newsroom’s Wisconsin digital media outlet, UpNorthNews. The show will provide news, analysis, opinions, and interviews with newsmakers, as well as featuring contributions from Civic Media reporters and hosts from around Wisconsin and Courier Newsroom journalists from across the country. The show will air on nine of the eleven news/talk stations throughout the Civic Media radio network. Several existing morning shows will be folded into the new program, while new voices will be added in other communities around the state to provide the best mix of state and local information to start the morning.

Earl Ingram, host of The Earl Ingram Show, will be shifting his focus to his local community by joining Mornings with Pat Kreitlow on 540AM WAUK in Milwaukee, and appearing as a regular guest on other network shows. Earl will also be devoting time to special reporting, starting with a limited podcast series focusing on the issue of lead in drinking water.

Matenaer On Air with Jane Matenaer and Greg Bach will shift one hour earlier, airing from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each weekday.

The Thom Hartmann Program, which previously aired on WMDX in Madison and replayed late nights across the state, will return to its live time slot from 11 a.m to 2 p.m., both the Madison and to the rest of the Civic Media talk network. Thom Hartmann is ranked the #9 talk radio host nationally.

In the afternoons, the midday shows will each shift 2 hours later, with The Todd Allbaugh Show airing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and The Maggie Daun Show from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. statewide. The final live episode of The Dom Salvia Show aired April 4th, and encore episodes are running on the network now through April 18th. Nite Lite with Pete Schwaba will continue to air from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Civic Media VP of News/Talk Operations Kory Hartman said, “This exciting realignment of our weekday programming will bring a renewed local focus to the Civic NewsTalk network.”

Civic Media CEO Sage Weil said, “We are excited to bring a more robust and flexible morning show to the state, and to reposition our best shows to serve our uniquely Wisconsin audience. This new approach will provide the flexibility to spotlight our local voices that focus on what is happening in our local communities, from Earl Ingram in Milwaukee to Chad Holmes in Wausau, and to share that content both on and off the air.”
