Celebrate Pride Month with axe throwing, painting and drink specials

Bars & Recreation to donate Pride Month special proceeds to Courage MKE

MILWAUKEE (June 14,2021) – Bars & Recreation, parent company of Milwaukee’s favorite activity bars AXE MKE, NorthSouth Club, Nine Below and Splash Studio, is celebrating Pride Month with axe throwing, painting, and drink specials. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Courage MKE, benefitting LGBTQ+ youth.

At NorthSouth Club and AXE MKE, a $10 Pride Party Pack Add-On will be offered to axe throwers the weekend of June 17-20, which includes a choice of a Montucky Cold Snacks Pride Can or rainbow cocktail, bead necklaces, 2 colorful balloons installed on their target, and a 50% donation to Courage MKE. Montucky Cold Snacks Pride Can is also the featured beer of the month at AXE MKE and NorthSouth Club.

Splash Studio, Bars & Recreation’s virtual painting and drinking concept, will be hosting an in-person Paint with PRIDE event at The Art Lot on Milwaukee’s East Side. Attendees will be guided by a live artist to create a Pride-inspired wood sign masterpiece. Paint with PRIDE tickets will include a paint kit, colorful beads, a candy necklace and a $5 donation to Courage MKE. Tickets are priced at $35 per person and can be purchased at http://bit.ly/paintwpridelive.
