MILWAUKEE – Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) will hold its final Drive for Charity event of the 2021 season from Sept. 17-19 when the Milwaukee Brewers host the Chicago Cubs. Presented by the BCF Leadership Council, the series of donation opportunities throughout the season support non-profits in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

Benefiting local children and families, the event seeks winter supplies such as new hats, mittens and scarves with drop-off points located inside American Family Field in right field, left field and home plate on the Field Level during games Sept. 17-19.

Those donating or making a $10 contribution will receive a collectible Corbin Burnes pin. Online donations, made at brewers.com/BCF, of at least $10 between Sept. 17-19 will also receive the pin.

BCF has held a total of four Drive for Charity events this season, collecting food, toiletries, school supplies and now winter supplies for a variety of nonprofit partners in the Milwaukee area. Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is the recipient of the final Drive for Charity with items supporting refugee and Afghan evacuee resettlement efforts.

The 2021 Drive for Charity events are presented by the Brewers Community Foundation Leadership Council: American Family Insurance, Aurora Health Care®, Delta Dental of Wisconsin, Johnson Controls, Lubar & Co., Molson Coors, Milwaukee Admirals, Northwestern Mutual® and We Energies Foundation.

BCF harnesses the pride, passion and commitment of Brewers fans, players and other supporters to positively impact the lives of children and their families in the Greater Milwaukee area and throughout Wisconsin. Over the past decade, BCF has provided more than 2,000 grants totaling in excess of $19 million to nonprofit organizations across Wisconsin that support programs focused on its four areas of concentration: health, education, recreation and basic needs. Approximately 200 nonprofit organizations receive funding annually through the Foundation’s initiatives. In addition to the fans’ support of the Foundation, all uniformed players, their families, team executives and front office staff contribute their time and/or financial resources to BCF. Visit brewers.com/BCF to learn about ways you can join the team that goes to bat for those in need.
