MILWAUKEE— The Friends of Lakeshore State Park are hosting a family friendly food truck event at Lakeshore State Park. Running from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, the day after Summerfest ends, this is a perfect time to enjoy the natural beauty of the lakefront. Bebe’s Bistro, Meat on the Street and Tots on the Street will be there along with live music and family activities hosted by the DNR on the big lawn area across from Pebble Beach.

Lakeshore State Park is Wisconsin’s only urban state park.  It is located on the lakefront just steps away from the Summerfest grounds, Discovery World and Milwaukee Art Museum.  There is no admission fee.
