Beer Release Party October 26th
The new releases bring the number of beer at Gathering Place to 12 in total.
Gathering Place Brewing Company is releasing two new beers with an event on Thursday October 26th from 3-10 pm. The new beers are:
- Friendly Debate Blonde IPA: Tropical fruit, tangerine, and pine notes burst in this light-bodied IPA with a moderate bitterness that lingers and finishes with a citrusy sweetness.
- Hopfen Dampf Bavarian Farmhouse: A Bavarian specialty called dampfbier, this beer shares similarities to its cousin the Hefeweizen minus the wheat malt. German hops lend notes of gooseberry and citrus, while elevated fermentation temperatures amplify the pear, apple, and anise flavors and aromas from the Bavarian Hefe yeast.
“We’re very excited to release our 11th and 12th beers just two months after we opened our doors,” said Joe Yeado, founder and president of Gathering Place Brewing Company. “One of these beers resurrects a near extinct beer style and the other is a fresh take on an old style using new hop varieties. Providing beer drinkers with these kinds of experiences is at the heart of what we do.”
The new releases bring the number of beer at Gathering Place to 12 in total. Additional beers will be released in the coming weeks, including a coffee stout and a Biere de Noel holiday beer.
Gathering Place Brewing Company is an independent brewery in the Riverwest neighborhood dedicated to crafting vibrant and unique beers that reflect the vibrant and unique community it calls home. Community engagement is integral to the business and Gathering Place will donate at least 1% of sales each quarter to local non-profit organizations.
