MILWAUKEE, WI – The Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter has named Jay Hill, VP of Advanced Technology at GE HealthCare, honorary chair of its 2024 Discovery Driving Hope fundraising gala. On Tuesday, March 12 at Discovery World on Milwaukee’s lakefront, guests will celebrate the beginning of a new era in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia.

“New advancements in the treatment of Alzheimer’s and the availability of important diagnostic tools are driving hope for all those who are touched by this debilitating and far-reaching disease,” said Hill. “GE HealthCare is committed to supporting the entire Alzheimer’s care area across diagnosis, therapy planning and delivery, and monitoring. I’m thrilled to join the Alzheimer’s Association Gala to help further the progress being made so we can one day hope to live in a world without Alzheimer’s.”

Proceeds from the gala will support groundbreaking research as well as extensive programs and services provided to the community by the Alzheimer’s Association, including support groups, family and individual care consultation, education and training, safety services and a 24/7 Helpline. GE HealthCare is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the gala.

Discovery Driving Hope begins at 5 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music and a silent auction featuring themed baskets representing communities across Wisconsin.
