Alverno College Welcomes New Vice President for Advancement
Milwaukee, (November 21, 2024) – Michele Kitson has been named Vice President for Advancement for Alverno College. In this role, Kitson leads the Office of Advancement and collaborates with college leadership on strategic philanthropy and alum engagement initiatives for the college. In support of Alverno’s mission, the Office of Advancement works to maximize private support for the college in accordance with ethical practices, to strengthen relationships with key constituents and to amplify the reputation and impact of the college.
“I am excited to welcome Michele Kitson to the leadership team at Alverno,” said Christy L. Brown, president of Alverno College. “Michele is an accomplished fundraising leader and has a passion for educating and elevating women and girls in our community.”

Kitson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and French from Cornell College, and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
