AFP-WI Rejects Act 10 Ruling, Calls to Restore Balance in Judicial System
Madison, WI – In response to today’s ruling by a Dane County judge stating Act 10 is ‘unconstitutional,’ Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin State Director Megan Novak released the following statement:
“This ruling is nothing more than judicial activism by a Governor Evers’s appointee. AFP-WI applauds Speaker Vos and Majority Leader LeMahieu for calling to quickly appeal today’s politically charged ruling to reinstate this constitutional law that has protected Wisconsin taxpayers for over a decade.“Now more than ever, it is imperative to restore balance in our state’s courts and elect judges who will consider the facts of a case rather than rubber-stamp the Left’s political agenda. Electing Brad Schimel, a fair and balanced judge, will restore the rule of law in our courts and stop judicial activism from making politically motivated decisions.”
Through broad-based grassroots outreach, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is driving long-term solutions to the country’s biggest problems. AFP activists engage friends and neighbors on key issues and encourage them to take an active role in building a culture of mutual benefit, where people succeed by helping one another. AFP recruits and unites Wisconsinites behind a common goal of advancing policies that will help people improve their lives. For more information, visit www.AmericansForProsperity.org

AFP-WI Applauds Tom Tiffany’s Transparency and Honesty in Governor’s Race
Jul 17th, 2026 by AFP WisconsinWisconsinites deserve full transparency and honesty from their next governor, which is exactly why we are proud to have endorsed Tom Tiffany. He has promised from day one to be honest with taxpayers, and he has the record to back it up.

“Electing Brad Schimel, a fair and balanced judge, will restore the rule of law in our courts and stop judicial activism from making politically motivated decisions.”
Schimel is as ‘fair and balanced’ as Fox News. Don’t forget that he got the Waukesha County judgeship because Scott Walker appointed him to the position after both of them lost their elections in 2018.
When public schools depend on underpaying workers, then the system is broken. Right wingers have no problems with judicial activism when the judges reflect right wing anti worker ideologies.
