Rep. Tenorio Uplifts Workers’ Rights Amidst Disappointing Court Ruling

MADISON, WI — Today, the District 2 Court of Appeals issued a decision restoring former Gov. Scott Walker’s Act 10 anti-union law. The law had been previously ruled unconstitutional by Dane County Judge Frost in 2024. Wisconsin State Representative Angelito Tenorio (D-West Allis) released the following statement:

“Workers’ rights are foundational to a healthy democracy. While today’s ruling is disappointing, it is not the final step. It is very likely that the Wisconsin Supreme Court will weigh in on this matter. If they do so, they will have the opportunity to correct this injustice.

Unions are the backbone of the working class community I represent. I will always fight for them. I hope to see the same from other elected officials.”
