(a reality opera) Music by Tim Rebers / Words by Alicia Berneche To prove that the best drama happens off-stage, MOT has commissioned two opera singers to write a dramedy about the universal experience of the job interview. In the hallway outside an audition room, eleven opera singers prepare to sing their hearts out for a panel of judges. Here, in that most nerve-wracking and vulnerable of spaces, they tell the stories of the trials, heartaches, and joys of dedicating their lives to art. Featuring two pianists, famous arias from the standard repertoire, and original compositions by Tim Rebers, Thank you.
