Plaza East is an office complex made up of two nearly identical, 13-story towers. Built two years apart, the first has 227,679 sq-ft of space, with the later tower has 229,801 sq-ft of space. The buildings are joined by an atrium on the first floor.

The two towers fill the block bordered by E. State St., N. Milwaukee St., E. Kilbourn Ave. and N. Broadway. They sit ontop of a 476-stall underground parking garage.

China Gourmet was a tenant for a number of years on the southeast commercial space before moving to a location on the river. In addition,

Park Bank operates a branch out of the building. Additional tenants include Ritz Holman, the Milwaukee Branch of the Court of Appeals, Associated Bank and the restaurant Sababa. The Milwaukee office of the FBI was formerly located in the building.

The building was designated LEED Silver for existing buildings.
