CBRE Named Exclusive Sales Agent for Historic Gas Light Building in Downtown Milwaukee

Milwaukee – Nov. 2, 2026 — CBRE has been appointed as the exclusive sales agent for the Gas Light Building, a historic 134,000-square-foot office building in Milwaukee.
CBRE’s Matson Holbrook and Sean Beuche will market the portfolio on behalf of the seller.

The Gas Light Building is located at 626 E. Wisconsin Ave. in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, proximate to the Milwaukee Art Museum, the U.S. Bank Center and several downtown hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues. The 20-story building was built in 1930 and features controlled access, on-site parking and a 21-foot weather beacon on top of the tower.
According to CBRE Research, the Milwaukee office market experienced its strongest quarterly absorption since late 2021, with 212,000 square feet of positive net absorption, primarily driven by a flight to quality in Class A assets.
