Wisconsin Avenue School
Aurora Health Care is converting the former school into The Beacon, a $50 million health and wellness hub. Milwaukee Public Schools ceased using the school in 2007. Proposed for redevelopment by Rick Wiegand into Grand Avenue Suites (Ambassador Suites) hotel from 2017 until plans were publicly dropped in 2024. Originally designed by Van Ryn & DeGelleke.

Milwaukee County correctional facility overseen by the Milwaukee County Sheriff‘s Office. Milwaukee County also operates the Community Reintegration Center in Franklin. Actual parcel part of Milwaukee County Courthouse.
