MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Today, County Executive David Crowley, Democratic gubernatorial nominee, released a statement following Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul’s decision to file a lawsuit against the United States Postal Service to block Donald Trump’s attempts to undercut democracy by limiting access to mail-in voting:

“I applaud the Wisconsin Attorney General’s decision to stand up to Donald Trump against his unlawful attempt at election interference,” said Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Crowley. “Every Wisconsinite should be able to vote in our elections without fear of intimidation or limited access, and any attempt to interfere with our elections should be rejected by every elected official and candidate for public office. We are a country of free and fair elections, and as governor, I will always protect our sacred right to vote.”

Last month, Don Millis, Republican-appointed chairman of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, and Ann Jacobs, former Democratic-appointed chairwoman of the commission, sent a letter to USPS urging them to reject Trump’s order to require states to hand over voter rolls to the Administration or risk losing mail-in ballot delivery. The letter warned that the order would delay election outcomes.

Tom Tiffany, who has voted absentee 12 times and tried to overturn the 2020 election, has not given a clear answer as to where he stands on the president’s most recent efforts to rig the November election.
