Milwaukee Night Market is back on August 19 for International Flavor Night

Experience an eclectic assortment of vendors and performances that represent different cultures, styles and flavors

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Night Market returns on Wednesday, August 19 for another evening of food, art and entertainment in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. This month’s theme is International Flavor Night, which invites attendees to travel around the world right from West Wisconsin Avenue with an eclectic assortment of vendors and performances that represent different cultures, styles and flavors. Produced by Westown Association, the MKE Night Market is open from 5 to 9 p.m. and is located on West Wisconsin Ave. between 2nd St. and Vel R. Phillips Ave.

“As seen through the many cultural festivals held throughout the city, Milwaukeeans are proud to celebrate the several cultural influences that shape our vibrant community. At International Flavor Night, we’ll highlight 30 vendors and performers who represent regions of Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America, giving attendees a chance to experience new flavors and styles all in one place,” said Stacie Callies, Executive Director of Westown Association.

During International Flavor Night, shop from local businesses selling hand-crafted goods and homemade food from across the globe including Artesania Minga, The African In Us Boutique, Henna by Priti, Tudo Sabor Brasil, Caribbean Taste and more. Attendees can also see a variety of performances representing different cultures in the Educators Credit Union Entertainment Zone including Mexican American singer-songwriter Alyssia Dominguez, Latin and reggaeton tracks spun by DJ Kenny Perez, West African drum group Djembe Nation 414 and an Italian dance performance by Tradizione Vivente.

Plus, swing by Baird Community Commons at the Baird Center for a performance from Irish folk-duo, Gould & Jaeger, at the FPC Live Unplugged tent, can’t-miss giveaways and more vendors. The fun continues at Vel R. Phillips Plaza with yard games, foosball tables and Draft & Co.’s Beer Garden Bazaar with more vendors and entertainment. Thanks to Interstate Parking, those coming downtown for the Night Market are encourages to take advantage of the $5 parking rate at The Avenue structure (entrances at 615 N. Plankinton Ave. and 258 W. Michigan St.). Guests should also consider using ride share services or public transit such as The Hop and MCTS to travel safely and responsibly.

W. Wisconsin Ave. will close at 10 a.m. for event set-up at 2nd St. and Vel R. Phillips Ave., along with mid-block closures on N. MLK Dr. between Wells St. and W. Wisconsin Ave. and Vel R. Phillips Ave. north and south of W. Wisconsin Ave. Streets will reopen after 11 p.m.

The remaining 2026 Night Markets are scheduled for September 16 and October 7.
