2026 Season of the Milwaukee Night Market Kicks Off this Wednesday, June 24

Experience country-western entertainment, dozens of local vendors & new activations

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Night Market is back for another summer of food, shopping and entertainment, and it starts this Wednesday, June 24. Produced by Westown Association, the Night Market is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee on West Wisconsin Ave. between 2nd St. and Vel R. Phillips Ave. and is open from 5 to 9 p.m.

“June seems to be flying by, but the best of summer is yet to come! This year, the Night Market continues to have the variety of vendors and exciting performances that attendees have come to know and love, along with new theme nights, special activations and an expanded footprint which a fresh energy to the event,” said Stacie Callies, Executive Director of Westown Association. “We can’t wait for you to experience it all on opening night this Wednesday!”

This month, it’s Western Night at the Market. Saddle up for country-western entertainment in the Educators Credit Union Entertainment Zone, located at the main intersection of the Market, featuring country musician Brecken Miles and line dancing performances from Redd’s LineUp. Over in the new FPC Live Unplugged tent on Baird Community Commons, hear upbeat bluegrass tunes from Frogwater.

A variety of local businesses will participate in the event including artists, restaurateurs and makers of all kinds. With a rotating lineup of returning favorites and first-time participants each month, attendees can discover something new while still supporting the businesses they already know and love. The Milwaukee Brewers are also hosting a special activation this month in the alley west of the Bradley Symphony Center. The Brewers Art Alley features a CARCADE gaming experience featuring MLB the Show, a collaborative paint by numbers mural with local artist Olivia Lombardi, DIY vinyl painting with Soul Spin, a trading card photo op, and DJ set by DJ Kenny Perez. Plus, see your favorite Brewers mascots: the Racing Sausages, Bernie & Barrel Man.

Attendees can find more activations on the two plazas included in the expanded footprint. At Vel R. Phillips Plaza, enjoy yard games and visit Draft & Co.’s Beer Garden Bazaar for flash tattoos, vintage clothing, ceramics and tunes from DJ One Port. Over at Baird Community Commons at the Baird Center, swing by for live music, scoops from Ben & Jerry’s, can’t-miss giveaways and more vendors. Thanks to Interstate Parking, those coming downtown for the Night Market are encourages to take advantage of the $5 parking rate at The Avenue structure (entrances at 615 N. Plankinton Ave. and 258 W. Michigan St.). Guests should also consider using ride share services or public transit such as The Hop and MCTS to travel safely and responsibly.

W. Wisconsin Ave. will close at 10 a.m. for event set-up at 2nd St. and Vel R. Phillips Ave., along with mid-block closures on N. MLK Dr. between Wells St. and W. Wisconsin Ave. and Vel R. Phillips Ave. north and south of W. Wisconsin Ave. Streets will reopen after 11 p.m.

Additional sponsors of the 2026 Night Market include 310W, Absolut, ASQ, Bota Box, GRAEF, Gruber Law Offices, Potawatomi Casino Hotel and VISIT Milwaukee.

The remaining three Markets are scheduled for July 22, August 19 and September 16. The Milwaukee Night Market provides a unique opportunity to gather on West Wisconsin Avenue, creating an environment for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to experience Milwaukee.
