After Getting Millions From Election Denial-Supporting Billionaires, Tom Tiffany Continues to Parrot Debunked Lies About Election Fraud
MADISON, Wis. — New financial reporting shows that MAGA candidate for governor Tom Tiffany’s campaign continues to be propped up by extreme billionaire donors who have donated tens of millions to pro-Trump PACs. In an interview yesterday, Tiffany continued to double down on debunked lies about election fraud. Previous reporting has highlighted Congressman Tiffany’s extreme record of election denialism and what it would mean for Wisconsinites to have a MAGA governor overseeing Wisconsin’s battleground presidential elections.
“Tom Tiffany is bought and paid for by election denial-supporting MAGA billionaires and it’s clear that if elected, he will work for them, not Wisconsinites,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Emily Stuckey. “Tiffany is clearly too extreme for Wisconsin if he is still doubling down on lies about election fraud while running for an office that would oversee the 2028 presidential elections.”
Tiffany has now received $10 million from MAGA billionaires with only a fraction coming from grassroots donors. This isn’t the first instance of billionaires buying Wisconsin elections — in 2025, Elon Musk spent millions failing to elect a conservative judge to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
