Mount Mary Student Fashion Show Offers Inspiration, Identity, Inclusion
“Fashion Framed” will feature eclectic influences from emerging designers
MILWAUKEE (April 30, 2026) – Students are putting the finishing touches on the annual Student Fashion Show at Mount Mary University. Their 2026 theme, “Fashion Framed,” will celebrate student vision and craftsmanship, inviting creativity to step out of the frame and onto the runway. This year’s event is produced by a team of eight fashion business students and features over 120 original garments by 26 designers. Ahead of the event, several students offered a preview of the show.
Arden Daniels created a senior collection inspired by personal themes that explore gender identity, transformation, self-discovery and belonging.
Lilly Ward centers sustainability in her work, created entirely from upcycled materials and discontinued fabric samples. Ward’s designs draw inspiration from diverse influences, including Renaissance fashion and fantasy aesthetics.
Evie Rodriguez designed garments celebrating her Puerto Rican heritage, incorporating colors, textures, symbols and historical inspiration from the island.
The 2026 Mount Mary Student Fashion Show will take place on Friday, May 8 in the Alumnae Dining Room (Bergstrom Hall) on the Mount Mary campus, with show times at 1, 5 and 7:30 p.m. For more information, including an online link to purchase tickets, please visit mtmary.edu/fashionshow.
