Milwaukee Artist Resource Network Announces Return of Member Show
MILWAUKEE, WI – March 23, 2026: Celebrating its return as the primary support source for local artists, the Milwaukee Artist Resource Network today announced a call for submissions to its new member exhibition, “Small Works, BIG Impact!”
Now through March 30th, MARN members may submit up to three artworks of up to 48 inches in overall height and width. There are no set themes for the exhibition, and the size limitations allow for the inclusion of more MARN member pieces. Selected work will make up the exhibition debuting April 17th (Milwaukee’s spring season Gallery Night) at Gallery 120 in The Third Ward’s Marshall Building (207 E. Buffalo St., #120).
The MARN Member Show will bring artists and the public together in an active, conversational gallery environment. The exhibition will allow participating artists the opportunity to connect with new audiences and place original art into homes and businesses throughout the city. The pieces will remain on view for a full month, extending visibility and sales opportunities for the artists while highlighting the vitality of the city’s creative community.
According to Pamela Anderson, MARN Board Chair, the service’s 18 month hiatus from the public scene gave the 25-year-old organization a chance to refocus on what’s most important. “This exhibition is an important step in reentering Milwaukee’s artistic conversation—rebuilding trust, reconnecting with artists and demonstrating our commitment to showing up for them with purpose,” Anderson said. “This is a moment of renewal for MARN. We’re bringing back exhibitions, workshops, mentorship and critical dialogue—but with a renewed commitment to transparency, collaboration and artist support.”
MARN members are urged to submit pieces for sale as artists receive a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Submitting artists will be notified of acceptance by email by April 2. Accepted artwork must be delivered to Gallery 120 on April 10–11. The show will run through May 16, with unsold pieces available for pick up from May 18-20.
“Returning during Gallery Night & Day is intentional,” Anderson added. “It places MARN back into one of Milwaukee’s most visible and celebrated arts movements. It’s a way of saying: ‘We’re here, we’re listening, and we’re committed to earning our place in this community.’”
