“Letters to Santa” Mailbox Set Up Inside Milwaukee Airport

Milwaukee Airport, Alaska Airlines will fly all letters received to Santa at The North Pole

MILWAUKEE (NOVEMBER 25, 2022) A special Santa’s Mailbox is arriving at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport just in time for the holiday season. Travelers are invited to drop off their letters for Santa Claus from Monday, November 28 through Friday, December 2.

The Mailbox will be placed near the entrance to Concourse D inside the Main Terminal. Pens, paper, and envelopes will be available at the mailbox for anyone who wishes to craft a letter on site. The Milwaukee Airport will then collect all the letters received and fly them on Alaska Airlines to Santa Claus at the North Pole. All letters received will be on display at Santa’s Workshop through the remainder of the year.

Everyone who dropped off a letter is invited to follow its journey to the North Pole which will be documented on the Airport’s social media channels and in a special issue of the December enewsletter. Travelers are asked to include their name and address when dropping off a letter at MKE. The Airport, in partnership with airport concessionaire HMSHost, will ensure that everyone who writes a letter to Santa Claus will receive a personalized response back.

This is the third year for the Airport’s popular ‘Letters to Santa’ program. The program won a firstplace award at the Airports Council InternationalNorth America’s (ACINA) 2021 Marketing and Communications Conference.
