The Green Bay Packers placed LB Edgerrin Cooper on injured reserve, signed LB Kristian Welch from the practice squad to the active roster and signed RB Damon Bankston to the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Bankston started his college career at Weber State (2021-24) before finishing at New Mexico (2025). Overall, he played in 51 games with 24 starts, recording 2,959 yards and 27 touchdowns on 505 carries (5.9 avg.) as well as 65 receptions for 729 yards (11.2 avg.) and four TDs. Bankston also registered 16 kickoff returns for 532 yards (33.3 avg.) and two TDs. He will wear No. 35 for the Packers.
