Supervisor Coggs-Jones Encourages Community to Take Advantage of Thanksgiving Dinner Give-a-ways
MILWAUKEE – With the Thanksgiving holiday around the corner County Supervisor Priscilla E. Coggs-Jones is encouraging Milwaukee County residents to participate in the many dinner give-a-ways hosted by local organizations.
“Thanksgiving is a time of reflection for all our blessings,” said Supervisor Coggs-Jones. “It’s a day inspired by gratitude, to give thanks for all we have, and celebrate with the people who mean the most in our life. Your friendship counts for so much. Have a joyous Thanksgiving”
Milwaukee Health Services will host a Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway on Friday, November 18 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center (8200 West Silver Spring Drive, Milwaukee). Dinners will be provided while supplies last. Participants must stay in their vehicles. Interested parties can call Amber Ridgeway at 414-267-2871 for details.
The Northcott Neighborhood House will host a Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway on Thursday, November 24 from 8 a.m.-noon at 2460 N. 6th Street, Milwaukee. No registration is required. More details can be found by calling 414-372-3770.
