Chairwoman Dimitrijevic and Sup. Haas to Hold Town Hall Meeting October 20
Milwaukee County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic and Supervisor Jason Haas will hold a joint town hall meeting from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 20 at the Humboldt Park Pavilion, 3000 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee.
“Since elected in 2004, I have held over a hundred town hall meetings,” Dimitrijevic said. “In the upcoming month, the County Board will adopt the 2015 budget and take up the proposed sale of O’Donnell Park. I look forward to receiving input directly from the people I represent on these important issues.”
Haas said he was looking forward to hearing from constituents from both districts.
“We want to hear from our friends and neighbors in the Bay View, Humboldt Park and south side neighborhoods about their thoughts on the budget, O’Donnell Park and other issues facing the County,” Haas said. “Town hall meetings are a great way to get the pulse of the people.”
Information will be available at the meeting on voter ID and the referenda on the ballot for November 4th.
