The 17th Annual WMSE Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser was held at the MSOE Kern Center on March 10th, 2019.

This year’s chili competition pitted more than 50 Milwaukee restaurants, cafes and caterers against one another to determine the city’s best chili as voted on by event attendees. Awards were given to winners in five different categories: Best Meat, Best Vegetarian, Most Unique Chili, Best Heat and Best Vendor Display/Presentation.

Besides great chili, music and family entertainment, the fundraiser featured the chili pepper races, the Artist’s Working in Education (AWE) who have been providing arts and crafts in the Children’s Area since 2013, and family friendly staff and volunteers from both WMSE and MSOE. This years live music was provided by The Dick Satan Trio.

Rockabilly Chili’s presenting sponsor was Lakefront Brewery, along with Von Breisen & Roper, s.c. and Colectivo Coffee.
