Leah Vukmir: It’s Time To Confirm Judge Kavanaugh

“It’s time the Senate votes and confirms Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.”

Brookfield, Wis. — U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir issued the following statement Thursday following the Senate Judiciary hearing:

“Both Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh deserved to be heard, and I’m grateful the Judiciary Committee held today’s hearing.

“Only 48 hours after his nomination, Senator Baldwin opposed Judge Kavanaugh, and today we learned her Democratic colleagues knew of these allegations for weeks, deliberately withheld them from the public, and leaked them for political gain.

“The fact is Senator Baldwin and her liberal allies are bitter that Wisconsin elected President Trump, and they’ll do anything to stop this highly qualified nominee.

“It’s time the Senate votes and confirms Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.”

Leah Vukmir is a nurse, military mom and the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate who is running to bring the Wisconsin Way to Washington. She currently serves as a state senator from Brookfield.

  1. Thomas Martinsen says:

Leah was loose lipped here when she claimed that Democrats withheld info re allegations of sexual assault vs Kavanaugh for political gain. Senator Feinstein was honoring Dr. Ford’s wish for anonymity. Leah lost it when she ascribed motives to Democrats involving bitterness over Trump’s victory (sic) theft of the 2016 election. Trump lost the popular vote. It is likely that Russian hacking helped him win the electoral college. Loose lipped Leah appears to love a loser. Democrats aren’t bitter. They just don’t like losers.

  2. Thomas Martinsen says:

I should qualify my remark in the last post that Democrats “don’t like losers.” They don’t like losers who pretend to be winners after cheating people who play fair. Then there are loveable losers. We liked the Chicago Cubs when they were loveable losers. The Cubs are no longer loveable since their recent World Series victory. How could Cub fans become instantly smug after winning the world series once after 110 years as “the doormat of the National League.?”

How can Kavanaugh pretend to be hurt after hallucinating that resistance to his nomination for a seat on the supreme court is fueled by the Clintons when he won his favor with reactionaries as an aid to Ken Star when Star was slavishly involved in the partisan charade that resulted in the impeachment of Bill Clinton?
