FPC to Hold an MPD Acting/Interim Chief Candidate Forum
The event will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Mexican Fiesta Headquarters located at 2997 S. 20th Street.
Milwaukee’s Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is pleased to announce a forum where the three candidates for the position of Acting/Interim Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department will discuss questions from the public. The event will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Mexican Fiesta Headquarters located at 2997 S. 20th Street.
The forum agenda is as follows:
5:00 PM – 5:30 PM Question registration & refreshments
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM Welcome, purpose, panel introduction & panel remarks
6:00 PM – 7:10 PM Community questions & candidate response
7:10 PM – 7:30 PM Final candidate comments & wrap-up
The candidates, listed alphabetically, are:
Inspector of Police Michael J. Brunson
Assistant Chief of Police James Harpole
Police Captain Alfonso Morales
Like the community event held on January 31st, questions from the public will be submitted in writing during the question registration portion of the forum, and the event’s moderator will make every effort to address as broad a representation of questions as possible.
