Wisconsin State Director of Strategic Economic Initiatives, Matthew Moroney to speak on the FOXCONN Development at AGC Corporate Dinner
The FOXCONN development project is expected to be the largest single economic development project in Wisconsin history.
The Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee (AGC) are pleased to announce that Mr. Matthew Moroney, Wisconsin State Director of Strategic Economic Initiatives will make a presentation on the upcoming FOXCONN project at the AGC Corporate Dinner held on January 23, 2018 at the Wisconsin Club.
The FOXCONN development project is expected to be the largest single economic development project in Wisconsin history and will create 13,000 new jobs through over $10 billion in capital investment. Mr. Moroney was recently appointed by Governor Walker as the Director of Strategic Economic Development to oversee the project. Mr. Moroney previously served as Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations as well as the Deputy Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Mike Fabishak, AGC CEO, stated “we are very honored to have Mr. Moroney join us to present on FOXCONN. With $10 billion in construction at stake, the industry is obviously very interested and excited about the mega-development.”
Over 150 AGC Member companies will attend the AGC Corporate Dinner. The event will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the Grand Ballroom of the Wisconsin Club, with dinner at 6:00 p.m. followed by the FOXCONN Presentation at 7:00 p.m.
The AGC is a 100 year-old professional business association that serves over 350 commercial general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and service providers in Southeastern Wisconsin.
