The Milwaukee Water Works’ most recent Consumer Confidence Report is now available online in English and Spanish, and as required, the utility has nearly completed mailing customers a reminder about the report with their second quarter or monthly City of Milwaukee Municipal Services Bill.

Milwaukee water complies with all state and federal drinking water standards. The Milwaukee Water Works is known for its extensive water quality monitoring program that goes above and beyond basic requirements. MWW was recognized in 2016 for its excellent work by such organizations as the Water Research Foundation (WRF) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA) – Wisconsin Section.

The report is required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) as part of the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act. The report is dated 2016 because it includes water quality monitoring data collected January 1-December 31, 2016.
