MILWAUKEE, Wis. (February 15, 2017)—Taste & Toast, a happy hour event coordinated by Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, returns March 6 – 10. The promotion features specially priced small plates, appetizers and beverages, alcoholic and nonalcoholic, from 4 to 7 p.m. at 24 restaurants, bars and lounges.

This year’s participants include: Bacchus, The Brown Bottle, Carson’s Prime Steaks, CLEAR Bar & Lounge, Coquette Café, Distil, Harbor House, Karma Bar & Grill, The Knick, Matador Taco + Tequila Bar, Mi•key’s, Millioke, Milwaukee ChopHouse, Monarch Lounge, Onesto, Pier 106, The Pub Club, The Rumpus Room, SafeHouse, Smoke Shack, Swig, Upper 90 Sports Bar, Water Buffalo, and Who’s on Third.

“Taste & Toast highlights one of downtown Milwaukee’s greatest assets – our fabulous nightlife,” said Beth Weirick, CEO of Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21. “Offering smaller portions and lower price points, this week is a great opportunity to hit several hot spots in one night. It’s truly a sampling experience.”

As an extra incentive for participating in Taste & Toast, Milwaukee Downtown will award $300 in dining gift certificates to two diners. To enter, participants will be asked to complete a Taste & Toast survey about their experience at www.milwaukeedowntown.com. At the conclusion of the event, two winners will be randomly drawn.

Menus of Taste & Toast participants are available for preview at www.milwaukeedowntown.com. Taste & Toast is a prelude to Downtown Dining Week, which will take place June 1 – 8, 2017.
