Milwaukee Native to Compete on Reality TV Series this Spring
Strength and movement trainer to appear on NBC fitness competition "Strong"
Milwaukee, WI: Local strength and movement trainer, Adam Von Rothfelder, will make his television debut on NBC’s new fitness competition show “Strong” premiering Wednesday, April 13. “Strong” is a new transformational competition series in which ten women are paired with the nation’s most efficient and attractive trainers to lose weight and transform their lives.
Von Rothfelder was one of over 3,000 trainers personally asked to audition, and after several interviews, he was casted as one of ten trainers on the series. One week after hearing from production, Von Rothfelder was off to Hollywood. Many of the auditioning trainers were well-known for their work with professional athletes; Von Rothfelder attributes making the cut to his authenticity and non-mainstream approach to physical fitness. “I was brought onto Strong as the tattooed dark horse to open people’s minds to what physical fitness actual is,” says Von Rothfelder.
Catch the 2-hour special preview of NBC’s “Strong” Wednesday, April 13 at 8p.m. CST and tune in every Thursday, starting April 14, at 7p.m. CST to follow along with Von Rothfelder’s transformative journey.
