Amongst all the other events going on in Milwaukee this weekend, the Brewcity Tattoo Convention started Friday.  It’s put on by the touring Villain Arts and enters its 6th year swinging through Milwaukee courtesy MIAD Alum Troy Timpel.

On the first day, some of the most talented inkers from Milwaukee, parts of Wisconsin, and even the Midwest set up shop in the Harley-Davidson Museum hall. We took a look around and took some photos courtesy our summer photography intern Nicole Braunsdorf.

If you’re reading this Saturday, tickets are $20 at the door and there’s some entertainment tonight via a sideshow and burlesque act followed by Industrial/Metal band Lockjaw at 10 p.m. On Sunday, more sideshow action in the afternoon before finishing up at 8 p.m. Visit the Villain Arts website for more details.
