With his great wealth, he built a lovely home still standing today on 9th and Wisconsin, now the Wisconsin Club.

That photo of the limo in the parking lot that takes up the grounds is so tragic! The Wisconsin Club could provide a great example by removing their front lawn parking (a feature found in some of Milwaukee’s less exclusive addresses) and replacing it with a below grade structure as homage to their lovely historic grounds. (Alternatively, the St. James property for Sale across the street may provide for parking and the front yard asphalt removed – it’s so tacky!).
