World View Art Center Presents Their Second Pop-Up Art Exhibition “Past Present Future!”
The opening reception will include live music, a light buffet, cash bar and silent auction which will help fund World View Art Center’s goal of a permanent home on Milwaukee’s Near West Side.
(Milwaukee, WI 7/15/2019) – World View Art Center (worldviewartcenter.org) a 501c3 nonprofit corporation will be presenting their second pop-up art exhibition this Thursday July 18th from 5:00 – 10:00 PM. The exhibition, entitled “Past Present Future!” will take place at Inspired Artisans, at 505 N. 22nd Street (entrance at 2201 W. Clybourn St.)
“You’ll be able to experience the 20th Century photography of renowned Milwaukee photographer, Lyle Oberwise the paintings of Brenda Smith, the contemporary urban photographer Leroy Skoglund and other significant voices of the Milwaukee art scene,” noted World View founder and curator Erik Eide. “We’re continuing our journey toward the goal of a permanent location which will enable us to offer youth and adult art classes.”
This exhibition will be held in a repurposed warehouse space. The opening reception will include live music, a light buffet, cash bar and silent auction which will help fund World View Art Center’s goal of a permanent home on Milwaukee’s Near West Side.
World View Art Center’s pop-up art exhibition is sponsored by Inspired Artisans, the Five O’Clock Steakhouse and the Milwaukee County Historical Society. World View Art Center’s vision is to engage Milwaukee’s Near West Side in the visual arts as a vehicle for empowerment and change. World View Art Center’s mission is to connect creativity and community in an inspiring environment of art education, exhibitions and studio space.
