MADISON – After four decades of being headquartered blocks away from the Capitol Square in Madison, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC), the combined state chamber of commerce, state manufacturers’ association and state safety council, will move to a new location on Madison’s far east side on June 3, 2025.

WMC’s new address will be 2 Buttonwood Court, Madison, WI 53718, in the American Center Business Park. There, WMC will continue its advocacy efforts, working to make Wisconsin the best place in the nation to do business. WMC’s affiliations – WMC Foundation, the WMC Litigation Center, Wisconsin Safety Council, WMC Insurance, the Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives, and Wisconsin Business World – will all move their operations to the new location.

WMC has been located at 501 East Washington Avenue since 1986. Prior to that, WMC had offices in Milwaukee where the business group was originally founded in 1911 as the Wisconsin Manufacturers’ Association. WMC merged with the State Chamber of Commerce and Wisconsin Safety Council in the 1970s.

WMC purchased its new building in January 2025. During the last several months, the location has undergone renovations to better meet the needs of WMC’s mission.
