WisGOP Statement on Wisconsin Supreme Court Considering Ballot Drop Boxes

By - May 13th, 2024 03:29 pm

MADISON, Wis. – If you are covering today’s oral arguments before the Wisconsin Supreme Court concerning the use of ballot drop boxes, please consider the following statement from WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming:

“It is abundantly clear that left-wing justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court are willing to sell out both precedent and principles to do the bidding of their out-of-state donors. Overturning their 2022 decision on ballot drop boxes would be catastrophic for both the separation of powers and the administration of the upcoming August primaries.” —WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming

Repubs only like court opinions that further their right wing agenda…none that further democracy

Projection is strong with this one.

Oh, this is rich! The same anti-democracy party that is led by election-deniers, grifters, and MAGAoons is name-calling? When expanding the franchise and protecting all folks rights to vote is considered a bad thing, our democracy is in trouble. ..but we knew that. Schimming should go cry on Gableman and Cleta Mitchell’s shoulders.

  4. TosaGramps1315 says:

Page 1 of the Right Wing Agenda Handbook makes it clear that Job One of all Republicans is to make the process of voting as difficult and convoluted as possible. I find it so interesting that Schimming & Co. don’t find that to be catastrophic – to our democracy.
