MADISON, Wis. — In the 14 years since the Affordable Care Act was signed into law, Wisconsin Republicans haven’t let up their attempts to repeal the landmark legislation, leaving Wisconsinites to face higher costs and potentially lose coverage without ACA protections.

Here’s a reminder of how Wisconsin Republicans have repeatedly attacked Wisconsinites’ health care:

Donald Trump came within one vote of repealing the Affordable Care Act last time around, and Wisconsin Republicans like Derrick Van Orden, Bryan Steil, Roger Roth, and André Jacque are eager to help him try to gut our health care again,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Haley McCoy. “The Affordable Care Act has been a lifesaver for millions of Wisconsinites in the 14 years since it became law, but its fate hangs in the balance in November. The only way to protect our health care is to reelect President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats who will stop Republican attacks on our care in their tracks.”
