Virtual 6th District town hall meeting set for Thursday, January 21

Event will include announcement of 2020 Difference Makers Award winners

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs will be hosting a virtual 6th District town hall meeting next week on Thursday, January 21 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The town hall meeting will also feature the announcement of the 2020 Difference Makers Award winners. Those wanting to attend the virtual meeting can register here. After registration is complete, a confirmation email will be sent including instructions on how to access the meeting.

The meeting will be an opportunity for residents of the 6th District to ask questions and share their concerns. In addition to Alderwoman Coggs, representatives from the Department of Public Works, the Department of City Development, the Department of Neighborhood Services, Milwaukee Police Districts 1 and 5, the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corp. and the Milwaukee Health Department will be present.

“I encourage 6th District residents to join me during this virtual town hall meeting as the event will be a terrific opportunity to speak directly with representatives from many departments all in one setting,” Alderwoman Coggs said. “We will also announce the winners of the 2020 Dr. James G. White 6th District Difference Makers Awards to recognize those groups and individuals for their tireless effort to improve our district and city.”
