Villa Terrace invites you to celebrate Villa Luna on September 28th
Join us for a magical evening of music, moon-gazing, and mingling under the Autumn sky
MILWAUKEE (September 7, 2023) – The Friends of Villa Terrace will host their biennial Villa Luna fundraiser on Thursday, September 28, 2023, the eve of the full moon, at the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum on Milwaukee’s East side. This landmark event of the fall season will take place in the Villa’s Great Hall and patio overlooking Lake Michigan. The celebration will feature craft cocktails by Equal Parts, delicacies from The White House, a cider tasting with Pomona Cider Co., tarot card and palm readings, a silent auction, pianist Joe Hauer and surprise musical guests, and a myriad of sights and smells that embody the harvest season.
Villa Luna will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude at 10 p.m., and cocktail party attire or moon/magic-inspired finery is encouraged. In addition to live entertainment, craft cocktails, and appetizers, guests will be able to view the harvest moon through a telescope provided by Milwaukee Public Museum astronomer, Bob Bonadurer.
“Villa Luna is a fun opportunity for the community to celebrate the beauty of Villa Terrace, and see firsthand the incredible strides that Jaymee Harvey Willms and her staff have taken to preserve the luster and create new and inventive programming at one of Milwaukee’s most storied institutions,” said Megan Holbrook, Friends of Villa Terrace president.
Tickets for Villa Luna are available for $150 for non-members or $125 for members of the Friends of Villa Terrace, with proceeds going to the annual upkeep and maintenance of the Renaissance Garden and the Villa. Sponsors of Villa Luna include Relics Rentals, Steph Kadlicko, Equal Parts, Pomona Cider Co., Feisty Flowers, KCB Buildings LLC, LaBonte Construction, and Megan Holbrook.
Tickets are available at www.friendsofvillaterrace.org.
