Veolia Water Milwaukee Union Employees Ratify New Contract

MILWAUKEE, WI-  January 31, 2020:  Union employees have ratified a 3 year labor contract with Veolia Water Milwaukee, LLC. The unions, which represent about 165 workers, include IAMAW Local 66, IBEW Local 494, AFSCME Local 366, IUOE Local 420, Steamfitters Local 601 and Painters Local 781.

Since 2008, Veolia Water Milwaukee has been under contract with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) to operate, manage, and maintain the Jones Island and South Shore water reclamation facilities, conveyance system and deep tunnel, serving 1.1M people and 28 communities.
