VB Announces Trio of Signees
Golden Eagles add three prep standouts to 2026 roster.
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Marquette women’s volleyball coach Tom Mendoza has announced the addition of three high school signees Wednesday afternoon as the official signing period opened for the class of 2026.
Molly Welge | 6’3″ Middle Blocker | Naperville, Ill. | Benet Academy
- Helped Benet Academy to back-to-back Illinois Class 4A state runner-up finishes in 2023 and 2024.
- Guided the Redwings to 2025 regional, sectional, and super-sectional championships.
- Earned 2025 East Suburban Catholic Conference All-Conference honors.
- Competes with 1st Alliance Volleyball Club, which finished 12th nationally in the 17s division.
Welge on Marquette: “I chose Marquette because of its competitive athletics and strong academics. Marquette’s family-like community and support for its volleyball program made it an even easier choice. I’m excited to be a part of Marquette’s successful volleyball program.”
Caydence Doolan – 5’11” Outside/Right-Side Hitter – Hagerstown, Md. / North Hagerstown High School
- Four-year varsity standout and 2025 team captain at North Hagerstown High School
- Led the Lady Hubs to three Maryland Class 3A State Championships and four regional titles
- Named 2025 AVCA Region 2 High School Player of the Year
- Two-time Herald Mail Volleyball Player of the Year (2023, 2024)
- Selected to the 2025 JVA All-National Team and PrepVolleyball Second Team All-America
- Member of the 2025 USAV 17 Open All-Tournament Team after finishing third nationally with Metro Volleyball Club of DC
- Holds the Washington County record with over seven kills per set

Allie Beers | 6’0″ Right-Side Hitter | Slinger, Wis. | Slinger High School
- Four-year varsity letterwinner and two-year team captain at Slinger High School
- Named 2024 North Shore Conference Player of the Year
- Earned First Team All-Conference honors three straight seasons (2022–24)
- Selected First Team All-State as a junior in 2024
- Reached 1,000 career kills during her junior season
- Helped lead Slinger to three consecutive conference and regional titles (2023–25)
- Plays club volleyball for Milwaukee Sting, finishing top 8 nationally in 2024
