UWM Union Art Gallery presents Crossing Over
An exhibition of Peck School of the Arts scholarship recipients
MILWAUKEE, WI (October 24, 2019) – UWM Union Art Gallery is happy to celebrate the achievements of UWM art and design undergraduate students who have received a fellowship and/or scholarship during the 2019 academic school year. The annual exhibition Crossing Over will open November 15, 2019 and run through December 12, 2019. The art displays a variety of mediums and unpredictable themes.
Crossing Over 2019’s participating students entered work last year for a juried competition or received an Outstanding Student award from their first-year program professors. The jurors granted scholarships and awards to students who showed progress and success in the Art & Design Program. For the outstanding student award, the first-year program professors selected students that they felt are a positive influence in Art and Design at UWM’s Peck School of the Arts. Join us in celebrating these talented students.
This exhibition is free and open to the public.
