Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at approximately 2:35 p.m., on the 9700 block of W. Appleton Avenue. The 29-year-old victim was located deceased. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
