WAUWATOSA, WISCONSIN, August 17, 2024—TosaFest—the long-running street fest featuring live music, food, and more since 1976—will once again be in the heart of the Village of Wauwatosa in September, continuing its run as one of the best neighborhood festivals in the Milwaukee area.

TosaFest, presented by JJB Home Improvements, will be held Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7. It will feature live music on 3 stages, 4 beer gardens and a “spritzgarden,” a Food Court presented by WaterStone Bank, a Vendor Market, unique VIP Experiences such as receptions with Wauwatosa fine dining institutions Le Reve and Eddie Martini’s, a KidsFest, the Riedel Sports Volleyball Tournament, and much more.

Also returning in 2024 is an Oktoberfest with Draft & Vessel Tosa, which will feature German beer, live accordion music, and a Stein-Holding Competition in partnership with the Wauwatosa Historical Society. Along with the nightly receptions, VIP Experience offerings include the Arté In the Street painting experience with Arté Wine and Painting Studio, a “Make Your Own Charcuterie Board” with GreyHouse Creative Market and the Village Cheese Shop, and a Chili Cookoff and Cupcake Contest with St. John’s Lutheran, and more.

Rounding out the fun is the second annual TosaFest Cheese Curd Eating Contest, held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at noon outside The Village Cheese Shop.

This year’s headlining musical acts on the Crivello Nichols & Hall State Street Stage include “the world’s original rockestra,” Joe 2.0, on Friday, Sept. 6, playing their renditions of rock classics with a string quartet in the mix. Saturday, Sept. 7 will feature The Mark Croft Band, an award-winning folk/rock/pop outfit out of Madison.

Also in the TosaFest lineup: Paul Cebar Tomorrow Sound, The Hungry Williams, the Matt Liban Blues Band, Brewtown Beat, the Squeezettes, Sugo, and Brett & the Dandys.

“TosaFest has really been revitalized since it returned to the Village from Hart Park in 2022,” said Chris Leffler, president of the Wauwatosa Business Improvement District and owner of Leff’s Lucky Town in Tosa. “It just has a great feel to it and offers something for everyone. We’re pleased that it’s been consistently recognized as one of the best community festivals in the Milwaukee area.”

TosaFest will be held on State Street between Harmonee Ave. and Wauwatosa Ave. and along Underwood and Harwood Avenues. The festival will run September 6 from 5 p.m.-11 p.m., and September 7, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. For more information, visit www.wauwatosavillage.org/tosafest.
