Milwaukee’s Best Fall Block Party, Beet Street, Returns Oct 3, 2026 You’re invited!
Less than two weeks out! Beet Street Fall Festival will celebrate live music and community building. There will be memorable performances, seasonal drinks, local food, a punk rock rummage sale, interactive art tables and 25+ community orgs sharing how you can get involved.
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, Cactus Club, Palomino Bar, and Goodkind will reunite to host the 11th annual collaborative festival. This all ages, family-friendly event runs 1-7pm with an 18+ indoor after-party inside Cactus to follow.
Coordinated by the Cactus+ team – Cactus Club’s nonprofit – this year’s impressive lineup features international and local talent.
Headlining: A groundbreaking Zambian psychedelic act, W.I.T.C.H. (an acronym for We Intend to Cause Havoc). Founded in the 1970s, they are the hallmark of Zamrock, a genre that fuses African polyrhythms, Western garage rock and funk ala fuzzed out guitars and lofi vocals.
Additional performances from LA-based post-punk trio, Automatic, homegrown hip hop darling Zed Kenzo, Milwaukee power-pop supergroup, Tyler Band, and a DJ set of cumbia deepcuts from Cozmiika.
This year’s party welcomes Ramona the Drag Queen back for another mid-afternoon all-ages line dancing lesson.
Inside Cactus Club, WMSE DJs will delightfully spin vinyl throughout the afternoon until the afterparty at 7pm. The afterparty features a barrage of glitch, pop, hip hop and post-punk artists, topped off with a headlining set from y2k-inspired Canadian electropop, CFCF!
Honeypie’s Great Midwestern Pie Championship is a crucial part of the festivities. Attendees are invited to bake and enter their favorite pie for the chance to win prizes. Seasonal cocktails will be available from all three hosting establishments in addition to caramel apples and food from Frida’s Cocina Taco Truck, Twisted Plants, Goodkind, The Corn Man and more.
Far-ranging community organizations make this block party so special! Expect to see Milwaukee Public Library, African American Roundtable, Milwaukee Turners, Teens Grow Greens, Plastic Free MKE, Planned Parenthood, Milwaukee Riverkeeper, and many others tabling with interactive activities.
Local art organizations like Grilled Cheese Grant, DK Nutz Community Art and Tooth & Nail Studio will lead participatory art-making. There will also be face painting.
Independent artists and vendors round out the map with a punk rock rummage sale featuring custom clothing, vintage records, books and zines, and other household treasures.
This year’s festival is made possible with support from Marine Credit Union, Educators Credit Union, The City of Milwaukee Arts Board, Cream City Foundation, Milwaukee Brewers Foundation and generous supporters like you.
