Tom Tiffanys Concepts of an Affordability Plan

MADISON, Wis. — Today, Tom Tiffany announced that he has a “plan” to fix the affordability crisis he created. Tiffany is responsible for enacting some of the highest cost-raising policies in American history—from voting for the economically devastating and chaotic tariff-tax trade policy which forces Wisconsinites to pay higher prices at the grocery store, to gutting ACA subsidies and Medicaid funding and kicking thousands off insurance, Tiffany consistently forces working Wisconsinites to pay a higher price tag.

“Tiffany has voted for every cost-raising, economy-crashing, anti-working Wisconsinite policy ever put before him. Tiffany doesn’t have a health care plan and he doesn’t have an affordability plan—just a government handout program for billionaires,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Emily Stuckey. “Tom Tiffany is the reason working Wisconsinites are getting crushed by the GOP’s crashing economy while billionaires get handouts paid for with taxpayer dollars.”

In a press conference last year, Tom Tiffany admitted he does not have a health care plan. When asked why after 16 years Republicans don’t already have a plan to replace the ACA, Tiffany said “unfortunately, it has not been done.”

Let’s take a look at Tom Tiffany’s Affordability Plan:
