(MADISON)—Today, Senator Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) issued the following statement regarding the announcement made by Representative Daniel Riemer that he plans to not seek re-election.

“I’d like to wish Representative Daniel Riemer and his family the absolute best as he begins the next chapter of his career. During his 12 years of service to our state as a representative in the state assembly, Daniel has served with distinction and honor, providing significant leadership in the areas of veterans and military affairs, and public health.

“I am confident that Daniel will excel in any endeavor that comes next for him, and hope that he is able to spend quality time with his young family and see them grow. Wishing you the best, Danny—Godspeed!”
